| in japan, skyline(coup or sedan) is the name, "V35" is the chassie code, "G35" is just the name here, V35 is still the chassie code. here is another way to look at it with the Z.. in japan, fairladyZ is the name, "Z32" is the chassie code, "300zx" is just the name here, Z32 is still the chassie code. understand? even on nissan's jp site it's V35 in the url...

[ http://www.japanesesportcars.com/skyline/specs/ ] and i think you mean to say that "They just making a GT-R version of V35 not the whole R36(not yet). the R35 would be the GTR's modded V35 chassie IF that's what they end up doing. i have (and others) heard that it will be based off the V36 chassie as the last 2 Zcons and other meets when there are reps from Nissan there. that's about the only thing they say they are alloud to tell us. now if it does come out in the V35 chassie, that would be awsome. but i don't see them doing all this work to a *35 when the *36 will be coming out the year after.. =\
